Bismuth oxide (Bi2O3)

Characteristic
Bismuth oxide is a yellow heavy powder, dissolves in acids but not in water. The color will turn to salmon pink when heating, melting point 825℃;.

Application
Used for voltage dependent resistor, zinc oxide arrester, porcelain capacitor, electronic components as video tube, glass envelop, bismuth series medicine material, and manufacturing for ceramic pigmentation and special glass.
